Ok, so you all knew that there was something more to the story of how I lost an amazing 30 pounds in less than 12 weeks. My reluctance to promote the supplements I take had a lot to do with insuring they would be able to deliver on their promise, but I think you can see from the before and after pictures, there’s nothing left to guess.

Available for the first time on on July 28th, 2009 are the two initial supplements in the HealZoo supplement line; ZooBurn and FatFlush. Both products contain 100% natural ingredients, and are guaranteed to deliver on the claims they make.

The “FatFlush” product is a natural and gentle colon cleanse that allows you to safely lose up to 7 lbs during your first week. You would be surprised at all of the backed up “gunk” that’s in your small and large intestine and the HealZoo FatFlush product takes square aim at cleaning your digestive system and insuring that your body is prepped for the transformation that the HealZoo Journey program brings.

The “ZooBurn” product is an all-natural fat burner/metabolism booster that targets stubborn fat stores while revving your metabolism back up to those teenage years. If you’ve always had a slow metabolism, prepare to experience what all the fitness models and ripped athletes experience on a daily basis, which is why they’re able to maintain such trim, slim, and ripped physiques year round. ZooBurn also gently suppresses your appetite to allow your body to efficiently process the foods you eat without allowing your body to store additional fat.

ZooBurn contains a proprietary blend of known fat burning/fighting ingredients without the side effects of prescription solutions. For mental focus and energy, it also incorporates Green Tea Extract which has natural caffeine to get you through those days when you feel like you can’t keep pressing forward.

As I love to say, the proof is in the pictures. If it were not for the use of these two products, my after pictures would still look like my before pictures. All in all, these are the two most effective products on the market when it comes to quickly, and efficiently ridding your body of excess fat caused by years of inactivity and neglect.

Check out my pics at HERE

Ok, I only took one week off, but last nights workout was absolutely brutal, and rewarding all at the same time. It’s nothing like knowing you put a full effort into taking care of the one piece of equipment that can’t be replaced, your body. After performing my HealZoo Journey Training program, my wife and I decided to take our cardio to the streets and perform what’s known as “Extreme Hill Sprints”.

I was under the impression that I was in pretty good cardiovascular shape….but I was partially wrong! Unlike the HealZoo HIT Cardio routine, Hill Sprints incorporate a different set of core muscles and quickly make you rethink taking them on. After 3 rounds, our legs were locked up. By the time we had completed the 30 minutes, we were ready to lay in the middle of the street and beg God to take us up! The last time I was this exhausted was back when I played team sports in High School.

The downside to Extreme Hill Sprints is that there is no way you can perform them everyday. At most, I only recommend completing 1-2 sessions of these catastrophic routine per week. Otherwise, you could risk long term injury and completely lose all of the progress you’ve made on the HealZoo Journey. Enough about last night, let’s focus on today.

Tonight, I’ll be completing my Back and Abs as described in the HealZoo Training program. What I truly love about this program is that you truly see and feel results and changes occurring daily. This morning, I put on my favorite pair of jeans and oxford shirt and they are literally falling off of me. And the belt that I purchased at the beginning of this year is completely done. It’s much to large now. How often do you have that problem? And to top things off, people are actually telling me how much more muscular I’m looking, all while I’m shedding tons of fat!

I’m sorry, but it just doesn’t get better than that. Anyway, I hope you join me for tonight’s workout. If you’re not already apart of the HealZoo Journey program, click here. Otherwise, continue to let life past you by and enjoy the “fun” that being out of shape offers. See you tomorrow.

After losing more than 30 pounds of fat and adding 12 pounds of solid muscle, I took a one week break from my HealZoo Journey nutrition and fitness program. But now that my week of rest is done, I have a more pressing reason to resume training.

After visiting with my doctor last week, I was informed that my blood pressure is still slightly higher than where he’d like it to be, and that he feels that I STILL have another 15 pounds of fat to lose. Talk about an eye-opener. Before I started my HealZoo Journey program, I really didn’t have a clue as to just how out of shape and overweight I had allowed myself to become. While he commended my accomplishments, he noted that the additional loss of weight would improve every minor issue he had with my vitals.

With that being said, today I’m beginning my second stint on my quest for ultimate fitness. As you can see from the pictures, the results I experienced were amazing, and my transformation was right on target with what I should have safely lost during my 16 week journey. But what you must realize is that sometimes, we let ourselves get so far gone, that it requires more effort and time to get back to where we should be. Fortunately for me, I understand that Rome was not built in a day, and that it is IMPOSSIBLE to safely lose more than 35 lbs of fat in a 16 week period.

For those of you that didn’t notice what I just said, “It’s impossible to safely lose more than 35 lbs of fat, in a 16 week period”. You can lose more weight than that, but it will come from a combination of fat AND muscle which is a big no-no when your goal is to lose fat/weight permanently. More than 95% of the weight loss programs on the market tell you that you can lose up to 5 lbs per week and while that claim is true, they neglect to tell you that most of the loss will be from muscle.

The HealZoo Journey program is a program based on the exact same programs that ripped celebrities, athletes, and fitness models lose, and you will NEVER lose more than 2-3 lbs per week because the ultimate goal is to KEEP the fat/weight off, not have it come back the moment you stop training.

Ok, enough of my rant, today I’ll be hitting my legs using the routine shown in the HealZoo Journey Program for legs, and I’ll also be completing my 30 minutes of HealZoo HIT Cardio. My daily caloric intake for the next 16 weeks will be roughly 2200 calories per day, broken down into 6 meals. That equates to each of my 6 meals consisting of 366 calories each. Obviously, each of my meals won’t be broken down perfectly into that bucket, but you get the drift.

To determine your specific caloric intake, unique to your body type and height, use the HealZoo Calorie Calculator, located here.

Wow, that’s all I can really say. The first time I looked at my before picture I was literally speechless at just how bad I’d let myself go. At age 31, and only 5’10, there was absolutely no reason I should have been weighing in at 205 lbs, and more than 25% body fat. However, I couldn’t find the proper motivation, program, and mentality to obtain the results that I desired.

Shortly before taking the infamous “before” picture above, I had my annual visit with my doctor and it quickly became known how my horrible health was affecting my body. The year before, my doctor had warned me that I needed to make some dietary changes, but overall, I was in pretty decent shape. However, on January 7th, 2009, I learned that I not only had high blood pressure, but also had high cholesterol, high triglycerides, and that I was more than 30 lbs overweight. I was then warned that due to the risk of heart disease in my family, I was well on my way to a heart attack. If that doesn’t motivate you, NOTHING will.

Ironically, I had begin a half-hearted effort to start working out on January 5th, but after I heard how dire my circumstance truly were, a new, more passionate fire begin to burn. This is when I decided to not only try a weight loss program that I thought I could stick with, but one that would give me the results that I wanted both internally and externally. After searching the web, I realized that most of the available programs simply weren’t going to deliver the results that I knew I wanted. How did I know? Because I had tried most of them, and was either underwhelmed with the results, or overwhelmed with the amount of money they wanted me to spend on their products in order for me to obtain the results they were promoting.

This is when I decided to do some research of my own and stop looking for the latest and greatest hype program. As I learned more, I begin to notice a pattern. Most of the available information about fat/weight loss online was ALL THE SAME, simply variations on the same program. But think about it, if all of these “same” programs work so well, why do so many people fail on them? The answer is really simple. If you’re not seeing the results you want, why would you continue to stick with a program? That answer is based on practical, and personal experience.

This is why I decided to create my own program. Something that I knew I would stick to, and something that would give me the rapid results that I needed in order to keep me motivated and focused. Which is exactly why I created the HealZoo Journey program. Before we go any further, let me make something very clear. I’m not a personal trainer, I don’t have a degree in Sports Medicine, and I’m not a “former” fitness model that knew the Hollywood fitness secrets. I was simply a fat, married guy, that was sick of being fat and out of shape.

The first “draft” of my program was extremely tedious. I initially tried to merge every bit of information I had learned was successful into an easy to follow program. Problem was, there were multiple phases and extreme amounts of cardio involved. I knew that if I couldn’t stick with it, noone else would be able to either. As I studied more, I began to refine my program, and eventually I had created a program that had me literally shedding pounds of fat off per week. Notice I said pounds of fat, not pounds of weight, we’ll discuss that further later.
